Understanding your funding & How it works

Your NDIS funding is there to provide you with the supports you need for your disability and help

you work towards your goals. Your funding is based on what is ‘reasonable’ and ‘necessary’ to

pursue your goals, in addition to the support provided by family, friends, and other community and

government services..

How NDIS pricing works

  • NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (previously the NDIS Price Guide) assist participants and disability support providers to understand the way that price controls for supports and services work in the NDIS.

  • Price regulation is in place to ensure that participants receive value for money in the supports that they receive.

  • The NDIA regularly updates pricing arrangements.  For more information, visit the NDIS website.
